BeLeader International Education handles everything from the first enquiry through enrolment, visa and WEG paperwork for minors, pre-departure briefing, and Chinese-language support once the student is in Cebu.
Step Onto Prosperity
This page is about how we teach, who teaches, and where the money goes. All three are things you can check before you decide.
How we teach
The culture inside SOP is built on trust and care. That is not a slogan — it decides how a teacher responds when a student gets something wrong.
While students are breaking through in English, we are also paying attention to independence, to how they see the world, to the habits they build living away from home, and to how they think about learning itself.
Every parent, and every adult student who came here on their own account, is hoping for that broader change. So are we.
We think reading the wind and learning to set the sail matters more than forcing a child to push against it. Learn with the wind behind you and the grades follow — as a result, not as the point.
How we are organised
SOP runs a single official service system. In Taiwan, BeLeader International Education is the directly operated service centre. In mainland China we work through both direct operation and officially authorised partners. Whichever official channel a student enrols through, the course quality and the service commitments are the same.

Both models run in parallel so that students in more cities can get immediate, informed local support instead of depending on one office being nearby.
Every official channel shares the same admission standards, the same process and the same student protections. Tuition, course content and accommodation do not vary depending on where you signed up.
All official service centres and authorised partners operate under SOP's management and service rules, following the admission standards, service process and student protections set by SOP International Language School.
Good education is not only what happens in the classroom. It is also what a student receives before enrolling, during the programme, and after leaving. That is why this system exists.
What we believe
Enthusiasm matters more than a score. Environment is easier to change than a system. Pressure does not equal results. Enjoyment is what makes results possible. Understand the student first. And find the pace that fits.
A score is an outcome; enthusiasm is the engine. Once a child is willing to speak without being asked, progress starts happening on its own.
Complaining about an examination culture changes nothing. Putting a child somewhere they are spoken to in English, treated with respect and actually noticed — that changes something.
High pressure buys a short-term score. It does not buy long-term ability. We take the slower road because it goes further.
Enjoyment is not the opposite of achievement; it is the precondition. 七 years of running this school keeps confirming it.
A teacher has to understand a student's situation before that student will trust them. Relationship comes before instruction — in that order.
Read the conditions and set the sail. Finding the pace that suits a child works better than demanding they run.
The academic team
Every member of the SOP academic team holds TESOL certification.
TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is an internationally recognised qualification for English teachers. SOP requires the academic team to complete it and to keep taking internal training, so that teaching method stays consistent with the Cambridge curriculum.
In a classroom that is mostly one-to-one, the quality of the teacher decides how fast a student progresses — because there is no group to hide in. Every lesson is a real conversation, face to face.
Where the money goes
SOP quotes openly: tuition, accommodation, visa-related costs and necessary local expenses are all explained before you enrol. Nothing is added later.
What worries most parents is not spending the money. It is not knowing where the money went. So we do not use the industry's high-commission recruitment model, and we do not pass that cost on to students. We put the resources into the things a child actually touches every day.
Education worth trusting does not spend its budget on how the offer looks. It leaves the budget with the student.
A note on honesty
Any student or parent considering the Philippines is welcome to visit the campus in person and see the teaching, the rooms, the food and the facilities for themselves.
AI has become a significant part of how education develops worldwide, and SOP began bringing it into teaching and school operations several years ago. Some images on this website are AI-generated illustrations, or have had faces digitally softened; they are there to show a situation, not to document one.
A school that is genuinely good does not need to be dressed up — because what you see on a visit is what a student experiences every day. Look at the school first, then decide.
We welcome campus visits. Send us a message and we will arrange either a visit or a live video tour.
